Heart NIT/TRE

This is a concept developed by Siv where she combines the methods of Neurogenic Tremouring with Heart Math Institute methods for creating heart coherence and physiological coherence.

Why Heart TRE/NIT?

Your heart is so much more than a pump for spreading oxygen to your body. It communicates with every cell in your body by multiple mechanisms.

The first one we think of is naturally its beat, its pulse. The cells of your body can feel that pulse like a mechanical pressure wave, and by its frequency and pressure each cell gets knowledge about your state of being.

Your heart also produces hormones and neurotransmitters, like the famous oxytocin, the hormone of connection and love.

Your heart has its own brain. The heart brain has its own memory, both long and short term and it sends more signals to your head than the head sends to the heart. So do you think your heart has an effect on your brain? Most definitely! It influences your ability for strategic thinking, your resilience in relationship to recovering from stress and trauma, your ability to self regulate.

And last, but not least your heart produces an EM field that is 5000 times more powerful than the EM field your brain can generate. The hearts’ field radiates at least 1,5 m/3 ft outside your body. It has been shown that this field interacts with the fields of those around you.
So having a strong coherent heart field influences your entire body and those around you.

How it's done

STEP 1
TRE/NIT
We start with doing a regular session with NIT/TRE. We tremor together to reach a deep state of peace and relaxation.
STEP 2
BREATH
During your tremoring you will be guided through two breathing techniques, one to create heart coherance and one to stimulate your awareness.
STEP 3
GUIDED HEART-JOURNEY
Finally you will go on a guided journey into your heart to experience its strength, radiance and wisdom, to remind you that this experience is yours, and to bring with you into your daily life to make changes where you need them.

Prerequisite

Prerequisite is the introduction to NIT/TRE course, and for your own comfort preferably attendance in a couple of group NIT/TRE sessions.

About Siv

Siv Jøssang Shields has been teaching the method since 2010 to hundreds of individuals.

The method is highly suitable for group teachings and is safe and easily executable.

She works closely with the developer, Dr. David Berceli and colleuge Alex Greene, to spread knowledge and accessibility of this simple and efficient tool that anyone can use.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, a Master’s degree in Physiology, and is a Doctor of Chiropractic. She has worked as a chiropractor since 1996 with thousands of patients.

Important Cacao and Health Information

Cacao is bitter

100% pure cacao is bitter. As with any bitter, too much can make you nauseous. Most drink less than 2 to 3 ounces (57 to 85 grams) of cacao a day. Over time, as your body attunes to the cacao, you may find that you need less cacao to feel the full effect. Less can be more. Pay attention to what your body is telling you.

Antidepressants

Depending on dose, SSRI antidepressants and anti-psychotics are not compatible with the MAOI’s (Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors) in cacao. Low to average doses should be ok, people on higher doses should drink less cacao. Check with your doctor.

Heart Rate

Our cacao will raise your heart rate slightly. If an increase in your heart rate could cause a medical problem, drink less. Check with your doctor.

Blood Pressure

Many folks with low blood pressure tell Keith that our cacao (low-caffeine) stabilizes their heart and helps them. Check with your doctor.

Other substances

Our cacao increases blood flow to the brain by 30-40%… so any other substances in your blood will be amplified.

Caffeine

Keith is often asked by people with a caffeine intolerance if they can use cacao. The caffeine content of cacao varies widely amongst cacao varieties and cacao makers. Most find our cacao to have a very low, to no-caffeine feel.

Children

Use less, according to the child’s body weight. It depends on the child. They will let you know. Children who have had an appropriate amount of cacao are more focused.

Pets

Real cacao contains compounds that can kill dogs, cats, parrots, and horses. Don’t let them eat it!
