Terms and Conditions for Personal Mentorship and Personal Sessions

—————————————————-

1. Services Provided

  • These Terms and Conditions govern all personal mentorship and session services provided by The Integrated Human.
  • Sessions are designed to support personal growth and well-being. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or legal advice.
  • Mentorship sessions focus on personal development, emotional regulation, and self-awareness. They do not include diagnosing or treating medical or psychological conditions.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All sessions must be paid in full before the first session.
  • Sessions must be used within one year of purchase unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Prices are subject to change; however, confirmed bookings will retain the agreed rate.
  • Sessions are personal and non-transferable. They cannot be shared, gifted, or reassigned to another individual.

3. Pre-Session Requirements

  • Clients are required to complete any pre-session preparation (e.g., intake forms) 48 hours before the first session. Failure to do so may result in rescheduling.

4. Session Duration

  • Each session lasts 50 minutes, unless agreed otherwise.
  • Clients are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session without a reduction in fees.

5. Rescheduling and Cancellations

  • Sessions can be rescheduled or canceled up to 48 hours before the scheduled time without penalty.
  • Changes or cancellations made after this period will result in the session being forfeited, except in cases of force majeure or emergencies, as determined at the provider’s discretion.
  • If we need to cancel or reschedule a session, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange a mutually agreeable alternative.

6. Tasks and Assignments

  • To maximize the benefits of mentorship, clients may receive tasks, exercises, or journaling prompts to complete between sessions. Consistent participation is encouraged to achieve the best results.
  • We also encourage clients to journal between sessions to reflect on their experiences, insights, and progress.

7. Confidentiality

  • All information shared during sessions is confidential.
  • Clients are asked to maintain the same level of confidentiality to foster a safe and open environment.
  • Exceptions to confidentiality may occur if required by law or if there is a risk of harm to the client or others.

8. Communication Between Sessions

  • Direct access to mentors between sessions is not provided.
  • For questions or assistance, clients may contact support@integrated-human.com. Responses will be provided within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are expected to:
    • Actively participate in the process.
    • Communicate openly about changes, challenges or insights.
    • Complete agreed tasks or assignments.

10. Session Recordings

  • Sessions may be recorded for the client’s personal review or for internal quality assurance purposes, but only with prior agreement.
  • Recordings are confidential and may not be shared or distributed without explicit written consent from both parties.

11. Intellectual Property

  • All materials, resources, and content shared during the mentorship program are the intellectual property of The Integrated Human.
  • Clients are granted access to these materials for personal use only and may not copy, distribute, or reproduce them without prior written permission.
  • Any unauthorized use of these materials is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

12. Technical Requirements

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring a reliable internet connection, a quiet environment, and any necessary tools (we use Zoom as a standard) for each session.
  • Technical issues caused by the client may not result in a refund or rescheduling.

13. Feedback and Program Improvement

  • After completing the program, clients may be invited to provide feedback.
  • Client feedback may be used anonymously for testimonials or program improvement purposes. If you prefer not to share feedback, please notify us in writing.

14. Code of Conduct

  • Respectful and professional communication is expected at all times. Inappropriate behavior may result in termination of services without refund.

15. Force Majeure

  • Neither party will be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond their control (e.g., natural disasters, internet outages, pandemics).
  • In such cases, sessions will be rescheduled without penalty.

16. Session Expiry Flexibility

  • If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from completing sessions within the one-year period, please contact us to discuss potential extensions. Extensions are granted at our discretion.

17. Termination Policy

  • We reserve the right to terminate sessions without refund if a client violates these Terms and Conditions, exhibits disrespectful behavior, or is unable to meet agreed expectations.

18. Refund Policy

  • Refunds for unused sessions may be requested within 30 days of purchase, provided no sessions have been used. After this period, refunds will not be issued.
  • No refunds will be given for missed sessions or late cancellations.
  • If the client decides to terminate the mentorship relationship, only 50% of the value of remaining sessions may be refunded, and this will be determined at our discretion.

19. Disclaimer

  • These sessions are intended for educational and personal development purposes only.
  • Results may vary, and no specific outcomes are guaranteed. Every agreement between TIH and Client can be characterized as a best efforts agreement by both parts. TIH can therefore not be held liable for results not achieved.

20. Privacy Policy

  • We adhere to strict privacy and data protection policies to ensure your personal information is handled securely and responsibly.

Important Cacao and Health Information

Cacao is bitter

100% pure cacao is bitter. As with any bitter, too much can make you nauseous. Most drink less than 2 to 3 ounces (57 to 85 grams) of cacao a day. Over time, as your body attunes to the cacao, you may find that you need less cacao to feel the full effect. Less can be more. Pay attention to what your body is telling you.

Antidepressants

Depending on dose, SSRI antidepressants and anti-psychotics are not compatible with the MAOI’s (Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors) in cacao. Low to average doses should be ok, people on higher doses should drink less cacao. Check with your doctor.

Heart Rate

Our cacao will raise your heart rate slightly. If an increase in your heart rate could cause a medical problem, drink less. Check with your doctor.

Blood Pressure

Many folks with low blood pressure tell Keith that our cacao (low-caffeine) stabilizes their heart and helps them. Check with your doctor.

Other substances

Our cacao increases blood flow to the brain by 30-40%… so any other substances in your blood will be amplified.

Caffeine

Keith is often asked by people with a caffeine intolerance if they can use cacao. The caffeine content of cacao varies widely amongst cacao varieties and cacao makers. Most find our cacao to have a very low, to no-caffeine feel.

Children

Use less, according to the child’s body weight. It depends on the child. They will let you know. Children who have had an appropriate amount of cacao are more focused.

Pets

Real cacao contains compounds that can kill dogs, cats, parrots, and horses. Don’t let them eat it!
