SOMABreath is a form of breathwork that combines ancient pranayama techniques with modern science to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. It is based on the principle that breathing is a powerful tool that can be used to influence the body and mind.
Through SOMABreath we access the autonomic nervous system and creates deep relaxation of body and mind and can connect you to a deep, inner silence and altered states of consciousness that stimulate the brain waves we see in deep meditation. So through these techniques you get an efficient access point to your unconscious mind, your limitless mind, where we then go on a journey by guided meditation.
The SOMApractice involves using various breathing patterns, breath retention, and movement exercises designed to increase oxygen levels in the body, release stress and tension, and activate the body’s natural healing mechanisms. We use specially designed music during SOMA to enhance the experience and assist you in the different breathing patterns.
